National Service Scheme SNDP VHSS unit F2 has been organizing various regular activities for the Volunteers durin the year 2009-2010 with the intenetion of bringing about their all round personality development through community services. The various programme participated by the voulteers enabled them to change their attitude towards society.
2009-JUNE -5
The World environment day was observed on 5th June 2009. The Principal gave a message to the students, that remineded of the importance of the day. The Principal also planted a plant in the premises of the school and the following week was obseved as “a week of cleanliness”.
2009-JULY-1
Machiplavu Forest Department conducted a class on the importance of Vanamahotsava. They also distributed some Brochers of forest Department.
2009-JULY-11
World Population Day. A class conducted by Dr: V.T.Jalajakumary, Principal , SNDP Yogam Training college, Adimaly. She reminded them of the fact that it is equally dangerous of the population increased or decreased.

A function was held to welcome the new volunteers in to the NSS unit. It was followed by an occation for mutal introduction.

A meeting arranged by new volunteers Mr; Joy Mathew , former Programme Officer conducted a awareness class and a brief history of NSS.

A rally was organized and participating all students in the school.

August 20th which was the Birthday of Mr: Rajeeve Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India was observed as Sadhbhavana Day. It was Mr: V.S. Rajesh , convinced the volunteers through his class the contribution of Rajeev Gandhi in the field of Computer Education.

One day orientation was conducted by Mr: Varghese Paul, Social Worker, Chalakudy, his class was extremely intersting and informative it could clear the doubts raised by the students perfectly well.

A One day class was conducted by Sri: C.S. Rejikumar, Jaces Trainer on Persionalty Development. The students were convinced of the need for maintaining good and healthy persional relationship from the class.

A Primary health care class conducted by Smt: Jancy , Helth Inspector, PHC Deviyar Colony, and also conducted a class for girls for the same time.

Adv: Eldhose Padayattil, gave a general awareness to the volunteers about the legal proceedures that everyone should know.
